I have taken on a new perspective when it comes to giving gifts to my children as I have gotten older. Like so many of you, I am more interested in giving gifts that keep on giving. Biblical games are a great example of a gift that will continue to give long after being opened.

Too often, I have given my children a toy for Christmas or their birthday to realize that just a few weeks or months later, we are donating it or, worse, throwing it away broken.

So I have adopted a whole new perspective on gift-giving. I look for gifts that have a special meaning, serve a purpose, and will last. That’s why I enjoy gifting Biblical games to my children and other family members. Biblical games are fun to play and continue to reinforce what my children are learning about the Bible.

Check out these ideas if you are looking for Biblical games that your family can play. They also make great gifts! #gamesforkids #boardgames #biblicalgames #biblegames

Here Are 5 Biblical Games That Make Great Gifts

Emoji Bible Stories Card Game – Kids love emojis, and this game is full of vibrant emojis that help retell Biblical stories. And this one has four ways you can use the cards to play different games. The Emoji Bible Stories Card Game is a fun way to learn stories of the Bible.

Bible Match It Link It – This game is similar to a match game with an exciting twist! If you have children who enjoy quick-paced games, you might enjoy this one. And like many of the games at Bible Games Central, it is versatile, with four ways to play it.

Bible Animals Click Clack Match – If your family loves dice games, you might want to take a look at this one. Bible Animals Click Clack Match is easy to play, and I think younger kids will have a great time with it; I know mine did.

The Good Shepherd – My kids love card games, and this is another one that was easy for them to learn. If you like to bring card games when you travel, this is one you can easily bring along. I found it extremely helpful that I could hop onto the Bible Games Central website to watch a quick video to show us how to play and read helpful information about the cards and how to play too.

Mission: Ends of the Earth – I saved this one for last because it was my favorite of all the games. You are a missionary tasked with traveling to different villages to share the Gospel and bless them with necessary resources in the game. If you have a child that is new to missions, this would be a great game to give them an idea of how missions work. It is a fun strategic game with ample opportunity to learn more about missions.

Why We Love Bible Games Central for Biblical Games

  • I love that Bible Games Central lists on the front of each game – how many players you need, the minimum age of the payers, and approximately how long the game takes to play. As a parent, this helps you quickly determine which games would be best to play with how much time you have.
  • Many of you know how much joy our homeschool group brought me over the years. And I can’t help but think so many of the games from Bible Games Central would be perfect for youth group activities or homeschool groups.
