The Morning Time Homeschool Hack You Need

You have seen them, photos of other families enjoying morning time in their homeschool. They look peaceful; no one is throwing a tantrum, and organized – oh how organized. It’s only a lovely thought for some, but for others, it really is a reality. Are you struggling to make your homeschool mornings come together?

We have hacks for everything these days. Mom hacks. Well, how about a morning time homeschool hack?

Save time, leave frustration behind, and actually enjoy your homeschool! It is 100% possible.

The best part?? You don’t even have to plan for it.

Yeah, you heard that right.

Why You Need Morning Time Homeschool Plans

No More Planning – If you aren’t a master planner and stay on top of your homeschool planning, your homeschool plans can quickly fall apart. Been there done that! I can plan well, but if I don’t have time to plan consistently, guess what? We don’t homeschool consistently. Oops!

I would rather spend my time learning alongside my children, using a high-quality curriculum, than planning like a madwoman each week. And I feel good about what my children are learning. I don’t have to worry if I am teaching them all they need to know.

Enjoy Peaceful Mornings – Just add eggs and fruit. Seriously, we ease into our morning routine now. I love how simple it is. I can add a healthy breakfast to the table, and we can read aloud while everyone eats, or we might be working on a handi-craft as I read. But, it’s home educating at it’s best. We don’t have to rush. The Homeschool Garden Morning Time Plans are designed with peaceful learning in mind.

Use High-Quality Curriculum – As a homeschool coach, people pick my brain all the time about what curriculum to use. It’s tough to choose. You want your children to have a quality education, but you aren’t sure about what books to choose, or what to cover. The Homeschool Garden Morning Time Plans take all of the guesswork out of it for you. You can trust that only the highest quality resources are curated for each session.

What Is Included In The Homeschool Garden Morning Time Plans?

  • Schedule – The Homeschool Garden creates a simple 6-week session schedule to follow each morning. Each day is not overwhelming at all, but it is packed with quality educational resources and activities. If you skip a day, no worries, you can pick back up right where you left off. Or double up the next day. It’s flexible for all homeschool routines and lifestyles.
  • Curriculum – The Homeschool Garden Morning Time Plans are Charlotte Mason style. Over the course of 6-weeks, each session includes copy work, poetry, tea times, art, geography, nature study, scripture, hymns, Shakespeare, memory work, and a prayer for memorization. Use what you like and skip what you don’t. This is a no-pressure curriculum. Use it however you see fit. You also will receive a book recommendation list, so depending on what ages your children are, you can choose age-appropriate literature for readers or read alouds. You also spend each session studying one artist and one composer.
  • SupportThe Homeschool Garden is not just a resource for quality Charlotte Mason curriculum. It’s a community. You can join a private group with many other Homeschool Garden families for additional support. The Homeschool Garden has a wonderful podcast to help mothers that want to incorporate Charlotte Mason into their homeschools. You will also receive monthly encouragement from them in your email box. Signing up for a monthly membership provides the best value. The Homeschool Garden wants to see you embrace a slower- paced way of homeschooling so that you can love home educating.
