The Best Way To Save On Summer Art Classes For Kids
Do you send your homeschooled children to art camp during summer or spring breaks? Do you look for creative outlets for them to learn new art techniques and discover more of their creative abilities? If you answered yes, you must have a child with a creative side. Me too! We are always on the search for new art classes for kids.
Every summer, we look for local art camps, art teachers, or workshops that have something fun planned for the summer. My oldest has attended many art camps and enjoyed private lessons from phenomenal art teachers. But let’s face it, for 3-5 days of art camp, it can cost upwards of $150. Fun? Yes, but cost-effective? Probably not.
We should also mention the taxi. You know the one you end up driving to and fro for that week of artistic enjoyment. Depending on how far you have to pick up and drop off, that can quickly add to the expense of learning something new for a homeschooler. And most homeschoolers consider learning from home such a perk anyways.
It’s cost-effective to educate from home or online, and we can eliminate the drive time and additional transportation expenses. I don’t know about you, but my time is valuable, so if I can save an hour a day driving my children somewhere and use that hour elsewhere within our homeschool or homemaking priorities I will.
However, I have found an exciting alternative to pricey art camps and art classes for kids!
It’s not just for summer, though! You can get an annual membership for the cost of 1 week’s worth of Summer art camp. So if you are looking to save money on summer camps, homeschool curriculum, and never leave your home; You Are An Artist is a wonderful fit.
Besides the fun traditional art camp with smores, backyard camping, and all sorts of fun summer art and ideas – you will also get a week of space + art camp! Check it out here!ย
