Hey Friends!

So I hope you can sense my sarcasm in the post title! Lol, Of course, I am kidding, but we have all had those days right! The days where you just can’t do it anymore, and it would be easier just to pack them up and send them to public school. Or you threaten them with sending them back! We have all either done it, thought about it, or heard of another mom who has.

Encouraging Homeschool Quotes for When You Want to Send Your Child to Public School

It’s funny when we look back on it, but when you are at the moment, the desperation is real. We feel like we are failing in some capacity, and it would be easier to send them elsewhere. But we know that just isn’t true, and there is no better teacher than you momma. So today I want to share my favorite encouraging homeschool quotes & scripture for when we feel like giving up on our homeschools.

Stay Committed –

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. –Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

His Plans Are Perfect –

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. –Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Stay Calm –

Calm provides clarity. Pause to consider
the gifts you have been given,
the difference you have made
and the direction in which you are headed.
– Anonymous

Be Optimistic –

The highest thinkers of the ages,
the seers of the tribes and the nations,
have been optimists.
– Helen Keller

Stop Doubting –

“Don’t dig up in doubt what you planted in faith.” Elisabeth Elliot.

Seek Him –

When  my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  Isaiah 61:2.

Don’t Limit Yourself –

“How satisfying to turn from our limitations to a God who has none.” A. W. Tozer.

No Better Option –

“There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.” Mahatma Gandhi

Your Home Is Powerful –

“The home is the first and most effective place to learn the lessons of life: truth, honor, virtue, self control, the value of education, honest work, and the purpose and privilege of life. Nothing can take the place of home in rearing and teaching children, and no other success can compensate for failure in the home.” David O. McKay

Your Children Are Precious –

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. –Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

These are some of my favorite reminders when things can get hard.
